PHILOSOPHY

Photographs are meant to held, felt, hung on walls, placed on mantles, and gazed upon for generations. Whether it's a single image, or a series of moments- they tell a story- our story.

This is our philosophy, and why we took our passion, and turned it into something that someday your grandchildren will look at and say "Wow, my grandparents were gorgeous." One of my favorite images is a professional wedding portrait of our great-grandparents in NYC, where they met in 1928, and where our great-grandmother grew up. He was a rugged country boy from Maine, set up on a blind date by her sister, Bunny, a dancer, on NYE in Times Square. She was a city girl with a flourishing career in fashion design, they couldn't seem more opposite- but their love for art, music, and embracing life- well, it was love at first sight.

Five, four, three, two, one...as the ball dropped that night- their love was born and the next generation soon after.

This photograph, every time I look at it, I remember this story, I feel the cold air and the confetti in Times Square. I see their first kiss and the generations of children, grand children, and great grand children that followed.

We want to share with you some of our favorite photographs and why we love them so dearly, and we hope someday soon we can help create photographs that your family will cherish and pass down as well.

MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS IN SACO, MAINE 1940'S

This is a slideshow of my late grandmother, gwendolyn Mae, she was an incredible and inspiring woman and I miss her every day. She was also a professional photographer along with my grandfather, Nick, and bought me my first professional lens. she was my biggest fan and knew this was what I was meant to do. my father followed in their footsteps, and is an incredible film photographer. I am blessed to have amazing childhood memories that resulted from his talent, and a deep passion for photography that they inspired.
